Harmoniously blending an extensive art collection from different cultures [Inuit sculptures and prints, Chinese prints, European prints, old and new tapestries], with furnishings that spanned generations and design styles, was both a challenge and a pleasure. Stories were grouped, vignettes were created and a lifetime of global treasure hunting was now elegantly displayed for all to enjoy with a Dutch pink paint color chosen as the unifying backdrop in the dining room. Custom window treatments and fabric selections provided subtle texture, Christian Liagre macassar bookcases created a tasteful vertical accent, and a Zylinder Zug brass chandelier added a practical and understated level of drama.
